Great singer and drummer for her time. Have any of you heard of her? I ask because I am older than alot of you.

Cool, is she one of your main inspirations? Also, was she more known for her singing or for her drumming?

No, Buddy Rich is my main inspiration. Karen was a drummer that occasionally sang, then became mainly a singer.

Cool! My husband is almost 41 so we both appreciate some of the older Rock,Blues,Jazz Swing, even country.

I've seen her performing. She was pretty cool. Couldn't tell the difference between her and her sticks though towards the end.
