Carter Beauford switches to Evans?

I knew that Carter Beauford was endorsing Evans heads for a while now but his name is no longer on the Evans site and word is that he has switched to Remo! What do you think of that? Personally I prefer Evans over Remo. Anyone know what the story is behind his switch?

My first guess is that Remo offered him more money to endorse their heads. Of course it could be other reasons as well such as sound preference or better treatment from the company but I really doubt that. It's all about the money for endorsements, usually. Remo and Evans are pretty similar companies, quality-wise.

i second the money factor, but I dont think its all that big of a deal...
