I watched his instructional dvd and this guy is fcking amazing! He does some things that I have never seen before and acts like they're nothing! in my opinion this is the best drum dvd out there.. are there any comparable ones out by some other great drummers?

Yeah I watched one of Virgil's videos where he does one of those clinic things in Japan and it was probaly the best drum video I've ever seen. He just mixes in a whole lot of chops, creativity, and flair all in the same bag. I recommend you all watch it. I can post it if you guys want.

no i think lang and donati are two different technique styles i like lang a little bit better than donati but both of them are freaking amazing

thomas lang is insane but go on drummerworld and check out Jo Jo mayer....He's one of the best drummers ive ever seen.

I don't think i've seen that dvd but i've seen thomas lang play and he's pretty awesome

I have never seen Thomas Lang's DVD but I wan't to really bad I saw some of his stuff on the web and it was crazy. I have seen one of Donati's videos I think it was the one with him at modern drummer vestival and I dont think that it was that great compared to some of the stuff that Lang has busted out.

While Virgil is amazing too, it doesnt take ANYTHING away from Thomas, Thomas is incredible, they are different players
