Question Favorite drummer set ups

So I'm preparing to buy a new set of drums, I'd like to use some of my favs to help with emulating their sound. I've been to the Yamaha site for Katché, Carrington, and Marotta. However, I've been searching for the Moby set up for Scott Frassetto and the Poe set up for Josh Freese. Anyone have some insights?

I know Josh Freezes' set up is posted on the DW site, but maybe it's not the one you're after.

Aside from the influence, you raise another interesting topic. Favourite setups in general.

I'm not brave enough to smack up a weird kit for myself, so I love the slightly odd ones others come up with.

EG; David Silvera, Igor Cavalera.

well, i havent done this yet, but danney carrey's set up is very... well... you know. But if you dont just look up "Tool". He sets his up to sacred geometry.

Which is pretty cool.

I really like Joey Jordison's kit, except for the 20" drums. There was a distinct lack of low end "thump" on the Subliminal verses album. And the whole flying around upside-down thing, I can do without that. Other than that, his simplistic kit is about my favorite.

Yeah, his first kit was pretty choice. as for the small bass drums, after learning some stuff about recording, I found that you have select either your bass drums or the bass guitar to accomodate the lowest end of the mix, otherwise they just trip over eachother and dude, Pauls bass is monster deep.
