These three helped me to become the drummer I am today. Drumming isn't all about crazy solos and hitting as hard as you can. It's about skill, technique, and how well you can add these into songs to make them sound good. I think that these guys are prime examples of that.

Chester Thompson (GENESIS tour drummer), Billy Cobham (Jazz), Phil Collins, and of course Neil Peart (RUSH). All these drummers have influenced my drumming style in their unique way, but ultimately it's being able to learn from them and take those lessons and blend them into my personal style of playing. Playing drums is only limited by one's own imagination. Talent comes from heart and emotion. Skill comes from practice, practice, and mere practice. Success comes from reaching and achieving personal goals, and then setting new ones. Fame comes from luck and connections.
