ugh, i LOVE roland sets. everytime i go to the music store i try playing them because they are just so much fun. the mesh heads feel fairly realistic and the sounds are unbelievably real. hopefully there will be one in my (fairly distant) future.
my practice set in my apartment now is a simmons set and it's not realistic feeling or sounding at all, but then again it was cheap and it's just for practice. but i feel as though one of those roland sets i would be confidant to sub in for my real kit in an emergency. just borrow a guitar amp and your good to go, ha.
