Drum intros that give you a shiver

I'd have to say Beast And The Harlot by Avenged Sevenfold. Not so much the very intro, but where the double bass comes in definetely...That just...Gah! Shivers everytime!

I like Zero Tolerance by Death, the intro's not that complicated but i think it fits quite nicely and sounds pretty good.

Then again i also believe that The intro to honor thy father is amazing just like everyone else, But that intro DEFINITLY gives me shivers when i hear it.

One thing is for sure, you allways gotta appreciate a good drum fill no matter what genre its falls under

Hmmm...the introduction to I Dreamed I Died by Devildriver is awesome. Well, the whole song is awesome. The drums just sound so right and I love it (:

I also love the introduction to Not Falling by Mudvayne...it's purely the ****...twice...times ten to the infinity plus the square root of 169.

Yeah, that awesome.

Skin O' My Teeth by Megadeth gives me shivers! Its just so fast and everything flows but yet it stills sounds like everything crashes together. Its a good balance.
Scream Aim Fire is probably another which makes me shiver.

A third song would be Don't Get Close by Slipknot. Its not complicated, its just effective : D

For the old school "classicists" among us, the intro to "Ain't Too Proud to Beg" by the Temptations-- that classic Motown roll they used a lot-- big BOOM on the ride tom, rolling up to a big CRACK on the snare, back to the ride tom, and into the tune.
Yeah, most of us can do it, but very difficult to get just that sound and feel--

I would definately say Painkiller by Judas Priest or scarified by Raxcer X. I would also say 13 steps by pantera. For drum intros to be great, they don't always have to be technical. It just have to sound amazing.
