Travis Travis Travis.... O how you play makes me Cringe!
Definately way too overrated as a Musician/Drummer.
Seems like he's been playing long enough to learn some new material, or at least get into some more technical things to expand his Playing Market!
I don't get it, he just keeps playing, (IMO) Easy Beats!
No style, just Boom Bam Bang.... next please!

I agree with most on here.

You can't fault, he is good, he has decent rythm. Unfortunately he does do too much for show.

And has also been already said - those poor cymbals. Jeez, imagine the volumes as well. Timings always perfect though suppose. He's by far from a technically challenging drummer though.

Exactly. That says it all man - Travis has the personality to get away with it. He's bashing and flailing away and making it a SHOW. And the general public just eats it up. I mean, I agree that he's overrated. But he does have incredible showmanship. And if you don't have very strong chops, or your lacking in technique, then one of the only things that's gonna get you where he got, is putting on a great performance....and he delivers. IMHO, that's why he's popular.
