Re: Is It Okay??? What are the specifications on that sponge? It looks porous enough, but how's the budget for that type of sound proofing? What size and how many would you need?
The rolls or sheet type is preferable. Need more info on this product. How is it mounted? You may need to cover the holes. Maybe another angle shot would help. Seems like most sound proofing can be cut real nicely using an electric knife like the ones used for carving turkey. It's not a joke, I found this out from a lady who worked at a millinery shop.
It looks like some packing material.
