Hello Drummers!

My name is Jackson Andrei and I work at the Tom Lee Music Drum Centre in downtown Vancouver.

I wanted to let everybody in the Vancouver area know that we are putting on a Yamaha Drum Workshop at the end of the month. The featured drummers are going to be Gerry Brown and Randy Cooke. We will also have a Yamaha electronic drum specialist at the event.

Gerry Brown is the current drummer for Stevie Wonder and has played with such names as George Benson, Marcus Miller, Lionel Ritchie, John Lee, Sonny Fortune, Alfonso Johnson and Phillip Bailey, NDR Big Band , Brothers Johnson, Roberta Flack, Joe Sample, Slide Hampton, Tom Harrell, Larry Coryell, Dave Samuels, Chuck Loeb and Chick Corea to name a few!

Randy Cooke is one of the most recorded drummers in Rock/Pop/Funk...(you name the genre), in Canada. From his home base in Toronto, Randy has a schedule of touring and recording that would have prematurely aged most other people but seemingly nothing can stop his musical enthusiasm and energy! Credits include a list way too long to mention but here's a few highlights: Rik Emmett, Kim Mitchell, Sass Jordan, Dahmnit Doyle, Snow, Carole Pope and many others.
