Re: Most Underrated Drummers/Bands

We have totally different mainstream music here...so I'm not in tune with that band.

Thumbs up Re: Most Underrated Drummers/Bands

John Bradbury of the Specials....What a great Drummer, great feel, drive and originality ...Vocals and music that said something about the time a society band that invoked discussion.....and rocked on stage....

Clem (Clement) Burke made me want be a drummer. Great style a feel drummer with flare and iconic arrogance..You had to be to get noticed with Blondie on stage..

Joey, Tommy and Marky Ramone They want to make anyone play the drums and self teach themselves...just pure class.....

Lloyd Ryan Drum tutor...Jazz drummer in the Buddie Rich Gene Krupper style saw him at a drum work shop in the 90s and boy can he play...impressed me...

Re: Most Underrated Drummers/Bands

Michael Giles has to be one of the most underrated drummers. King Crimson original drummer that had an incredible touch. Listen to the album "In the Court of the Crimson King" and you'll see what I mean. His snare work was unbelievable, 40 years later it's still fresh. He made that drum sing.

Re: Most Underrated Drummers/Bands

I would say Bones W Machine fromt the Swedish band Deathstars. His parts may sound simple and basic, but they fit the songs perfectly. The style of music they doesn't call for any fancy playing. Sometimes the best parts are the simple and basic parts.

Re: Most Underrated Drummers/Bands

Had to chime in here....underrated band, Red. I know they made it big, but Breaking Benjamin great sound, Also Sevendust Morgan is a really great drummer.

Joey, yeah hes got alot of hype behind the band as a whole, but someone said in an eariler post, guys a machine....yes he is....dont know if youve seen his solos...but wow. I wish I was half that quick and accurate with my feet. Mudvayne is underrated, that guy is awesome!! (sorry names arent my strength)
Shinedown's drummer is another I hold in high regard.

I would also say Roger Taylor from Queen. He never got the proper respect he deserves. He is a very outstanding drummer.

Chad Sexton of 311, one of my favorites. I dont see him getting to much credit for anything, but he is one amazing drummer to me.
