Stanton Moore is a amazing drummer! He plays just about everything but really strives in Funk. He is one of my new favorite drummers. Next to Bonzo, Peart, JoJo Mayer, and Bernard Purdie.
Do a search on YouTube for him. Someone has posted alot of stuff from his instructional videos - the man is awesome. The best down and dirty funky New Orleans feel I've ever heard. I first heard him with Galactic some 10 years ago - I guess it takes that long to be an "overnight success". The last MD interview I read on him shows him to be a totally saavy business man who could give lessons to all of us "creative types" who need to learn how to be businesses!

Yeah! Stanton definitely is the man. He is my new favorite drummer next top Bonzo and JoJo Mayer. and a great business man he is!
