I have been looking into getting a small set for my little apt. been thinking about just getting a kick a snare and a hi hat, real simple. possibly a jungle floor tom for the kick.
anyone know of any retailers that sell a package like this? or have any good suggestions about which snare kick and hat combos would be good value and/or inexpensive?
just want something I can groove with, and try to find the pocket

This is the only thing I could find quickly that is close to what you want. It's an add on pack, but whatever. You will still have to buy a snare and hats with this...

I think if you only want 2 drums and some hats, you will have to buy them all individually. Check eBay.

yea I'm just going to be patient and piece it together over time.
if anyone has any suggestions about snares and hi-hats to look out for lemme know.

I see a lot of cheap used pulse snares on craigslist, often the hi hats I see advertised are the most expensive.

This one comes with 2 toms, a bass drum, snare and hardware. You just need to buy cymbals. I'll look for some cymbals for you. I'll post them later.
