THE MORAL PART ....of my story

I feel that if can give any advice to those of you lucky enough to be in a position of being able to buy a new kit , forget about name , price ,reputation and all that , play as many as you can , and use your ears and soul and you will make a wise choice .

P.S try not to use crash cymbals as this will ( unless thats what you've gone in for LOL) , as you may get fatigue of your ears and will not be ale to hear the subtleties of the kit , just play the main body of the kit ,rolling round the toms etc .

Re: THE MORAL PART ....of my story

Thankyou... I have had some great advice from the folk on here , i consider myself a seasoned player but having been away from the cutting edge for a while it can be a little daunting when faced with so much infomation and opinions . I would like to take this oppotunity to thank everyone at connect for taking the time to give me help and their shared wisdom, long may it continue and hopefully I can give some of it back.

Re: THE MORAL PART ....of my story

There is so much choice available these days and the overall quality from the "mid range kinda semi pro levels , i think anyway , is very good and encouraging , you can choose between maybe 6 or 7 drum manufactures and for as little as £1000 you could have very nice sounding kit .
