Exclamation HELP! I need a double bass pedal that isn't $200+!!!!

After trying to play "Another Way to Die" by Distubed (I did pretty good with one pedal, but it killed my ankle), I decided that I needed a double bass pedal. But all the good pedals are more expensive than a ride cymbal!!! I want to get a double bass pedal, and I don't have $250 just lying around! So I would like to know about any double bass pedals that aren't $200 or more. Thanks!

One place to look is Ebay - I've seen some good prices on some Gibraltar and Pearl pedals.

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

double bass drum pedals | eBay

for example, see items: 180649728622, 140530762385

If you are comfortable with Ebay and know how to research the products and sellers, you should be ok as long as you buy a good brand: Gibraltar, Pearl, DW/Pacific, Yahama, etc. Stay away from the aftermarkets and try to get one that is chain drive rather than direct or strap.

In other words, stay away from brands: BadAax, TKO, Vex Pro, etc. Some of them look as if they are constructed ok, but ...

Ebay or Craigslist are the way to go. I got myself a sweet DW 7000 double bass pedal used for only 90 bucks, the thing looks great and feels even better. So as long as you dont mind buy used just shop around and you can find some great deals.

One of my gigs has a Pearl P902 Double on the provided kit and I like it.
It's fairly light and powerful.
The slave setup is pretty close in-feel to the main.
I am not saying I'd definitely buy one if my budget was $200, but it would definitely be the yardstick by which I measured everyone's double pedal against.

And I am fairly confident it will be hard to beat.
