Smile Which drum set?

Hello, everybody! This is my first post and am sort of nervous. I'm a newbie and have only been playing for two years and have a P.O.S set. I much need a new one. Can anyone tell me a good intermediate kit for around $600-$700?

Thanks, Nic.

Thumbs up Re: Which drum set?

If you have a computer go on Ebay put in Custom Classic drums and buy them they're in between $500.00 to $650.00 and 100% birch shells and they sound great! I have 7 drum kits 5 of them HI-END KITS but I bought a Custom Classic 6 pc Hybrid ln a natural finish and that's my main kit. I bought mine for $529.00 and FREE SHIPPING. They came right to my home. These drums are "AWESOME" I currently play in a Modern Country/Southern Rock band and play out a lot and drummers come up to me and say WOW that kit sounds great did you pay 2 to 3000.00 dollars for them and I just laugh so check them out YOU'LL BE HAPPY YOU DID. UP BY MY NAME IS A PICTURE OF THE KIT. "GOOD LUCK GROOVEMASTER69"

depends on what shape your hardware is in.. you can get a good shell pack from most companys in that range but the hardware is a nother story

Mapex meridian maple sets are great intermediates, and they run cheaper than most.

I play a Mapex Meridian maple. Great set, but it's about 850 for 6 pc shells. They may be cheaper now, I dunno.

A decent kit for the money is the Ludwig Combo depending on what genre of music you're into.

I agree with groovemaster69, as far as going on EBay or CraigsList.
