Wink neil peart tour snares

hi guys
this only my second time on forum
It took me 20 yrs but i finally have three of the neil peart snares , could not believe it found the gold plated snare r-30 tour with gold hardware at a drum shop in tampa , still in the box , then got snakes and arrows with black nickle hardware at forks drums , then ordered new the time machine snare with the copper hardware, what I am having a hard time finding is the Vapor trails red sparkle snare with brass hardware DW said they can make me one at 1,098.98 same price as time machine , I will keeping looking , maybe next year I will order it if I can't find it , I have been playing now 50 yrs , all types of music my words to all you young drummers never stop playing even if you never get in a band drumming will keep zane when all the world around you is going crazy , listen to all music , don't get stuck in just rock , metal , challenge yourself learn some jazz
sit down the sticks and pick up some brushs it is great for your wrist , best of luck to all you guys and gals I did'nt forget you ( girls ) HA HA

That's great advise for the X-Gen of drummers.

As for your search on that snare, have you tried Vintagedrums.com yet?

OK Gus, you can stop poking a stick at a 60 year old Indian.

The "X" stands for the neXt, a slang terminology.

I'm also on to your bent sense of humor. Mine is just warped but it ain't bent, at least not yet.

You kids can keep your, LOL, OMG's and so on. I can't make it out, and don't give a damn about that slang either.

My parents didn't understand our slangs when I was a teen either back in the 60's and 70's.

Peace - Tainojim

I agree with Rimshot49 that drumming does keep us sane....well, assuming we were sane to begin with (Tainojim?). If we never have been sane then drumming keeps us loud and proud and youthful.

Insanity still comes quietly to the structured mind.
