Couldn't tell you the brand, but think it's an old Tama. Good, sturdy, cussion about 6 inches thick. I have to replace the odd screw when it falls out but it's worth it because mine has gas lift and suspension, which I've grown so accustomed to, it hurts my back to play on anything else. It's funny, I haven't found any with gas suspend in stores. I hope mine doesn't bust or I might have to customise an office chair.

Here is one by pacific for only $29.99. Its cheap, has a thick seat, and is double braced. Its the model I use, and its worth every penny as far as budget thrones go.

Yeah I think I said this before but Pacific makes some good quality hardware for the price - especially the higher end models. Good stuff!

I got a throne a few years ago, It looked really nice, it was thick double braced and everything, but it was like 30$ or somthing like that you know really cheap, It lasted all of a year and the metal plate that atatches to the bottom of the seat broke clean in half and Im here to tell you about hurt myself when that happened, so just rember you get what you pay for.

I know somthing like the tama first chair is really high but it will last a long time, My first throne was a tama and it lasted about 15 years.

I can't do those seats with the cutaways for your legs, I lose balance when I double kick.

I have a Pear Roadster throne with the cutaways. I admit, it was awkward getting used to the cutaway at first skinslapper, but it's no biggie now. THe damn thing was 79 bucks in the music store I got it from but check out how fat it is...comfy!!
