Lighted drums

Here's a pretty cool video and a pretty cool concept - drums that light up every time you hit them!

It would look pretty cool during a show or something but I would imagine the electrical bill would get pretty high after a lot of practicing.

Yea that is pretty cool, I wonder how much one of those would cost you. Knowing pearl they would probably charge about 5g for it. I can't imagine the price of a DW one.

If im not mistaken they made that set for Chad Smith (red hot chili peppers). Id love to see it live, I wonder if theyre going to come out with a whole other line of "lighted drums?"

I'm sure if you really wanted to you can make some home made lighted drums with some triggers and LEDs... anyone up for it?

Ludwig already did the LED thing, although it was a short-lived series. Excuse the huge pic.
