i have the eliminators and not only are they fast but they can also adjust to any postion you want. My friend has iron cobras and their fast and smooth but im still stcking to my eliminators for the different cams and powershifter features

about 5 months ago I bought a set of premier double pedals. and Im here to tell you that they rank right up there with all the top name pedals.
they replaced my elminater pedals and they made them feel like I had been playing with turtles for pedals.
my feet are moving faster than they have with any other pedal I have owned or used, and they were only a fraction of the price that I would have payed for one of the big name brand pedals.

The pearl elimnator is a good pedal that should be from beginer to advanced drumming.

I have the single pedals and I have played on the double a couple of times, and I always think they are great pedals when they are new but over the past 17 years of using nothing but pearl pedals I have found that after a while they seem to slow down quite a bit over prolonged use.

I am sure that most pedals due but not all of them.
my first set I replaced the bearings and it made a huge diffrence in my double pedal.
most pedals come with ABEC-1 bearings and I replaced them with ABEC-3 bearings, they are the same size as skateboard or roller blade barings.

Anyways they are not bad pedals but to me they are not the greatest.
pearl could do a lot more with them.

Great write up Drummer111. I just purchased the DW 5000D3 after checking out all of the pedals mentioned in your write up at my local GC.

I've been playing on a low end Yamaha single pedal for years and I must say the "free floating" bearings on the DW pedal influenced my choice.

The box the DW came in had "Made In Taiwan" stamped on it and I've had good luck with products from that country so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The footboard failures are a very legit concern. Thanks for the heads up!
