Best set under 750


Im looking for a new set, prefferably under 750. Some of the ones i have been looking at are

.Ludwig Accent 5-Piece Custom Power Drumset 700
.Pearl Export Standard 5-Piece Drum Set 730
.Tama Swingstar Ready to Rock Standard Drum Set 650
.Taye ProX 522C Standard 5-Piece Drum Set
.Ludwig LR1315EC Accent Custom Fusion 5pc Drum Set
.Gretsch Drums CA-E825 Catalina Birch Series 5 Pc Shell Pack

am i on the right track, i would like it to include cymbals and hardware. Any suggestions?

I love Pearl. I have two Pearl sets. Export and Masters. I say go with the export. They have some awesome finishes these days. I had a Ludwig once, it was ok. Tama's are very nice also. The Export probably not going to be under 750 with cymbals, but I that's what I'd do.

Dude, you should really read up on the Taye drums, they are actually extremely well built and for the price they are unbeatable.

Taye Drums...


I can't say much about the Taye lower end lines, but I play the Tour Pro and really like it. As the hardware is the same or similar, it is great too. One issue I have had is with a loose lug on the snare when hitting rimshots repeatedly. I think it is simply an issue of constant hitting and hope it is not a manufacturing mistake???
