Portable Moveable drum transport/ Riser

I hope to build this very soon. It is a drum riser that comes apart the use can transport your kit from your vehicle to the actual spot you play at and use it as a riser as well. It is made from wood pallets, locks, and lockable wheels.

You can't tell by the diagram but I plan to fill in the gaps in the pallets with extra wood. Then I wood carpet the individual pallets, then attach the locks and the lockable wheels.

The reason for the locks is so you could confirgure it the way I have it pictured,3 long or make more. It will come apart easy to store and haul in your vehicle.

I used a ping pong table cut diagonally and plastic milk crates.

Do you have any pictures of it? I would love to see your kit setup on it.

My old kit was setup on a gibraltar rack. I could set it up and with two people, carry the entire thing minus snare and floor tom.

Isn't that really heavy? I would think you would need a big van or truck to fit it all in one piece. Also, how did you get the drum set through doors?

Nah I didn't transport it like that, but depending on the venue I could set it up off stage and carry it on. With two people it wasn't very heavy, I only had one bass drum then. I won't be connecting my bass's to my new rack it was a bit of a pain.
