| Wow, thanks for the replies! So many good thoughts and input you guys have contributed and I agree with a lot of what you guys said. Times have been changing and will continue to change as long as people are alive. Who knows what the next stage in music will bring? All I know is that drums have always been a part of music, whether it's through African drum skins, drum sets, or drum machines, and will continue to be a part of music. It's the backbone and driving force.
As for musical culture and the stuff that it promotes, like gang violence, drugs, etc. that's a whole new topic... |
