It's one of the best "bang for your buck" instruments you'll find - for $100 or less, you can get your hands on a drum that will work well in a variety of musical situations.
The keystone-badge Acrolites from the 1960s tend to be the most collectible. For my money, tho, the Black Galaxy Acrolites (a.k.a. "Blacrolites") sound the best of the bunch, altho the sound has stayed fairly consistent over the years. |
