Need help with pedal

I'm looking into buying a double bass pedal for my brother, whom's birthday just passed. The problem is, that he plays his drumset in a lefty set up, which I understand is quite rare when it comes to drumers. I looked around websites and stores to find lefty double bass pedals, but it turns out that stores don't stock em, and if you want one, it's usually ordered from one of the highered teared items. My question is, I stumbled upon a DW 7002PT Double Bass Drum Pedal today online, and it goes for 199.99, which looks like a good deal. Now, the question is, am I gonna be able to switch the pedals around and put it in a lefty set-up? if not, are there any pedals that are of pretty good quality and fair price that I'm able to purchase? Any help would be greatly appreciate it.

Thanks a lot.

there should be a lot of companys that make left pedles, I know that DW does and tama does as well. I am willing to bet that pearl does as well, not sure about some of the lower end companys though.

I would try going thru musicans freind online and if anything talk to one of their sales reps and I bet you can get one for the same price as a reguler pedal but just know that it is only a left pedal that they cant be changed from right to left, at least not to my knowledge, but I would talk to musicans freind reps and I bet they can get one to you at a fair price.

I got mine on Ebay for 200$ or something. Anyway it's a Pearl rightee, but I could have bought a leftie for the same. Great pedal, Power Shifter Eliminator, but if I were you, I'd let him try out different ones. I find that DWs are quite diferent from Pearl (especially the prices :P). Look at local music stores and places like Ebay. Good Luck.

For your answer and to everyone who doesn't know...

ONLY TAMA RIGHTY IC DOUBLE PEDAL CAN BE MODIFIED TO BECOME LEFTY IC DOUBLE PEDAL AND THIS WITHOUT ANY OTHER PARTS.
