Double Bass Pedal?

Pearl makes excellent equipment. especially in their upper end series. What it comes down to is --if the price range is within your budget & If you like the feel of them, then they are just right for you

Hmm, the same pearl pedal comes in belt and chain; belt is a bit more expensive, whats the difference?

Originally, all of the bass drum pedals were made with leather straps. They tended to stretch & break with hard usage. Around 25 years ago drum manufacturers starting using a single chain, then a double chain. The Pulse pedals we were originally talking about has a double chain. There is absolutely no noise from those chain. I'm sure the leather straps are better than they used to be. bottom line ---buy which ever you like.

Oh, alright, I don't think I'll be able to feel the difference. I'm guessing the chain will last me longer?

I use a Duallist, leaves my left foot free to use hats.......

I got a chain drive pearl eliminator, seems to be treating me well so far. So much stuff to adjust though!! confusing, still trying to figure out the best settings, lol

I have ordered several things from musicians friend and had no problems..including the pearl 2002c dbl bass pedal....sweeeetttt...has 4 cams you can replace at the push of a button..so you can get any feel you want...adjustable foot board...as far as too many adjustment...i feel like you are able to "dial" it in for whatever playing style you prefer....<S>
