DW Hi Hat sticking - Help!

I have a DW 5500 TD Delta II thta I really like a lot. Lately, though, I have encountered a problem with the Hat sticking closed. I have tried adjusting the tension, but I find it very hard to find the right setting. Has anyone else encountered this same problem? If so, how did you fix it?
