Talking My latest impulse by

Last Friday at Lunch I was in the local Guitar Center, and stumbled across a discontinued Gretsch Catalina 5 piece Fusion size Birch shell kit at a bargain price. They were also running a 1 year no finance cost deal on their card. So I went home talked to the boss she gave me the go ahead so I bit. So far I'm really impressed with the sound of the Kit. The tom holders seem sturdy enough, but it wasn't the easiest in the world to get adjusted to where I wanted. I got the dark walnut finish and I really like the looks of the kit. They definately are an upgrade over the CB percussion shells I was playing at home, or the Blackhawk Kit we have at church.

shazaam, the cymbals are only B8s, to tell you the truth I'm not overly happy with them, especially the ride, that will be the next thing to get upgraded.
