probably the best drum companys are the ones that are no marketed at stores.
like custom drumset companys.

EX.
Sjc drums.
Truth custom drums.
Shine custom drums.
OCDP.


you basiclly get what you want from these.
all the other brands that you see at the stores keep the same size drums for every model they have.

well this is bacislly my opinion. so you might think otherwise.

Im looking at a Ludwig Custom Birch Fusion set. I've heard that Ludwig was one of the original companies that made kits,( i could be wrong about that)I've never played one. Ludwig any good?

The ludwig company has been around sence 1910. There a very old drum company. I've played one kit, but I wasn't impressed. The best thing to do is go to a drum shop that has ludwig drums and play a kit. Hope that helps.

Hey...you can see the entire kit on their site. www.sjcdrums.com. Just go the the gallery/kits. Its the white marine pearl kit....my name Anthony Dantuono is at the top. As for the cost....they have a great kit builder on their site...you design...and it will give you the cost. The whole kit, 7pcs, aprox 4500.00. 7x10, 8x12, 9x13, 14x14, 16x16, 20x20 and the snare is 7x14. These drum just explode underneath you. Peace!
