Hey Everyone,
I'm thinking of making a 20 inch kick and making it 22, or 24 inches deep. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with such a drum? I'm wondering if the added depth is going to give Me a little more bottom than an average 20? Thanks All

i actually want to get the same thing around 22 or 24 depth.
just imagine a 12*12 power tom and compare it to a 12*7 tom.
the 12*12 is going to sound lower and have a longer sustain than the 12*7.
i just love that longer sustain of deep deep bass drums. nothing better than that.
