if someone could tell me EVERYTHING i need to get triggers set up and working that would be great. also if you could maybe suggest decent triggers and stuff i would appreciate it!

Hey ,man.

I use Ddrum triggers.. put into an Alesis DM5 mod.
both of which seem to be outstanding so far.
Triggers are an excellent thing to have if you gig.. they make for a much more clear crisp live sound.

how much did it cost you for the triggers and something to play them out of and everything?

The mod. i ordered in from a music store.. came to about 550.

and i bought 6 Ddrum triggers from a buddy of mine so i got those cheap.. buying them new isnt to expensive though.. cheaper then the module at least,.

do triggers make bass drumm noises sound different?

I've been using triggers and my Alesis DM5 for over 10 years. I switched to DDrum triggers after making my own and using them for several years. You can see a picture of my Mapex set on this site. I like the sound much better, I also muffle my heads with rubber pads so only the triggers show up through head phones. I get a much deeper sound, however as far as head response, nothing beats just pllaying open heads with mics.
