Snare lugs loosen up during play.

Over time as I play my lugs get loose if I rim shot in their area. I have to position my snare a certain way so my stick cant rim shot on top of a lug but when I play I cant be focusing on that, but then my lug comes loose (like it wiggles around in the hoop). Is there a way to get this to stop?

Some tips in order from the cheaper to more expensive

1- Lock tite
2- Nylon washer or TAMA rubber washer
3- Tightscrew

All those three should reduce the lugs loosening

Exactly what it says...keeps the screw tight. It's like a jelly/paste...or atleast the stuff we use in autos is like that. Sorta like glue fo rscrews, but is a whole lot easier to break the bond compared to super glue or of the like Use that if you plan to wanna keep your snare lugs tight for as long as they'll be in there/till you change heads

I've tried a bunch of products, the little Lug Lok nylon tabs, nylon washers, but the only thing I would endorse are TightScrew tension rods. They have a groove cut perpendicular to the threading that has a nylon strip that grips the inside threading of the lug. This completely solved my detuning problems. Plus they're an independent company so when you call them up you pretty much speak directly to the owner.

Perhaps it's time to get some new t-rods or lugs, the might be worn down and loosened up over time:
