What Is A Good Height To Have Your Mallet On The Bass Pedal At?? (halfway, Etc.)

5 inches from where the hold into the pedal(where i have mine at least).

My beater's just about as high as it'll go which brings it I think close to the center of the head. Just dependson the style of music and how loud you want the hit to be.
