Question what should i get???


i'm looking for a good drum set on the cheap side that would be good for playing more hardcore stuff like metal. what should i get???

lol, it's up to your ears to decide to be honest, hit up local shops and startin hittin stuff Some recommendations on brands though that have good sets on teh cheap, PDP, Gretsch, Ddrum(not a personal preference till you get a higher end set), if you really have to keep everything under 4-500...pulse...but get new heads with it. Cymbals, again up to your ears to decide, but starter cymbal packs I'd recommend would be meinl mcs or maybe sabian b8's or zildjian zbt's...I'd take the mcs over any, but the b8 hats have a perty nice sound but they're a "pingy" cymbal line in general.

Pearl. Flat out, a pearl drum set will do the job. If you can't find one with a double bass drum then you can buy a double kick. That would make it sound more metal.
