Yes they can, the only problem is if they are off center on a small bass drum (18"). I got mine off craigslist. If you know what your buying you can score very well there especially if your patient and able to jump on something. I got a 6 pc brand spanking new with 2 crash 1 ride, 2 splash a china for $600 cash. Right place and definitely right time. Nice
