Re: PDP Platinum

The floor tom legs are upgradeable, I would like the 5 piece if it were 13" 16" 18" =)

Re: PDP Platinum

Hey Bish, looks like you have owned those drums now for about a month and what do you think? Are they worth the money? I really like the fact that the whole thing can be customed out (even the virgin bass drum) but I would like to know what actual owner's of these bad boys think. I think they LOOK amazing, but we all know that that is not everything.

I just priced out a four piece kit (22" Bass, 10" Tom, 12" Tom, and 16" Tom) and it came out to be $1380.00 for the Tangerine to Blood Red Lacquer and $1480 for the Exotic Tobacco to Black Curly at Guitar Center's site.

Re: PDP Platinum

dude they sound amazing! you have to tune them pretty often, but its really easy to get them sounding incredible. ive had my five piece for about a month and ahalf now and i'm lovin it to death. the guy at guitar center quick tuned one of the toms at the store and when he hit it, i was sold!

NICE! So what other kits have you played? And what kit style do you have and how much did you pay for it? Oh yeah, and at what angle are the bearing edges cut? I bet 45's but you never know and I have been looking everywhere online to find out what it is.
