Which one do you prefer?

I like the Tama superstar custom Amber fade or Dark desert burst.
I've heard you get a nice feeling when hitting these drums with the Tama hardware. They look pretty nice and i'm told they sound good to...

I like the Pearl Vision becuse of the cheaper Birch series, the harware, the SensiTone snare (been told it's great) and the Concord Fade featured layout.

I like the PDP Platinum most becouse they look the best (in my eyes). They are all-maple, so is the Tama I think.

Please help me with more features and positive/negative facts!

dude I just bought a pdp platinum satin oil tobacco to black finish 5 pc kit and its amazing. not only does it look like the kit of my dreams, but it sounds like it as well. its 8 ply all maple shells with the new figure 8 style lugs. everything about the kit is just high quality and well made. I havent really figured out any disadvantages yet, besides the fact that the rims on the floor toms are kinda easy to dent, which sucks but i guess its not that big of a deal. man everytime I look at it i seriously fall in love, its so hot. ha. i'll try to put some pics up. its sweet tho. I also looked at the gretsch renown, which is similar to the platinum, but I think its more of a jazz sound, when i was sorta lookin for rock. both are great kits but i'm lovin my platinum! im not too familiar with the vision and superstar. ive heard great things about the pearl vision.

Sweet! May I ask how much the kit were? I haven't really found any prices yet
I saw your easlier post about getting toms and snare along with the set. Did you get the snare? If, you like it? What kinda sound is it?

i was going to order the snare but when i went to guitar center they had the exact finish i wanted with close enough sizes so I got it. it doesnt have a snare, but its got 2 rack and 2 floor toms and the bass. the kit was $1449. i think its very worth it!

The thing is, the same set in Sweden is 2500 >.<
So it's same kit for alot more money :/

I dont think so... I've looked it up at Musiciansfriend.com, they dont deal outside America or Kanada. And as i've got it, that is the biggest internet store. But there are a few big internet dirtributors in Europe, but they haven't got the platinum in stock yet...
