Mine's is fine, I really dig the setup now but I still have a beginner kit ( a good beginner kit though) and only one crash left to replace and I'll be set.

The drums are all maple Keller shells

Snare: 6 1/2 X 14" tube lugs, I bought the shell with the bearing edges and then did the rest myself. The stain is actually a dark transparent purple with some glitter added.

Toms: 8" 10" 12" and 15" floor, black transparent finish with Pearl mini mass lugs and RIMS mounts powder coated black. Built at a local drum shop

Bass: 20" bass drum, same finish as above. Built at the same drum shop.

Cymbals: Wuhan S series 20" ride, 16" crash, 14" hats, 10" splash, and one off brand china cymbal.

Stands: a mix of Pacific and DW stands, Pacific 602 double bass pedal.

Rack system: Drumframe version 1

Cool factor? IDK... I just like the whole setup even with it's quarks.

Really nice kit, I dig particularly the rack, did you build it yourself ? The bass drum riser look to be an integral part of it ???

Pearl export, circa 98, with the full-length lugs, but no iss. 12, 13, 14, 16. 2 22 by 18 inch bass drums (cool) and a 14 by 6.5 Pearl, brass, free-floating snare (so cool).

Pearl dr-80 rack (very cool). Sonor 400 series double pedal, split in two (ultra cool for the price). Asorted cymbal arms.

402 splash, pst5 16 crash, 802 18 crash, 2002 22inch china (ice cold), alpha 14 hats, 20 power ride and 18 china.

Oh and rototoms.

The drum rack is made by the company "drumframe"

The whole goal is to lift the drum kit off the floor and tilt it at an angle. It is wonderful to sit on and play on... though a bit heavy. Somewhere on this site I have a review of the drumframe I own.
