Hi Dull Boy,
My vote is for keeping the Premier, and sell the Razor back. (I really dig the Premier snares)
The money you get for the Razor Back you can use for a new
Aquarian Focus-X for the batter head, and a Classic Clear for the reso head, that takes care of your glue/tape problem, and maybe a new set of snares!
By then the Premier will guaranteed sound heaps better (imho) than the Razor Back.
Also, the Razor Back is quite a deep snare, which of course will always be a bit slow, but it will have a deep loud punch, more like a tom with snares.
Personally, I like my snares crisp, quick and dry, hence my recommendation, but for you that might be not the case; as always our preferences are soooohh personal.
Cheers and happy drumming,
Harry
