Custom snare size (for metal)

My friend of mine has a 14 X 7", I like the sound... and If I were to get 14X5" it would feel like a waist of money.

PS Punk is fun to play.

Re: Custom snare size (for metal)

Why settle for one?
Match up a deep snare like you describe with a piccolo snare.

Re: Custom snare size (for metal)

Never go into a gun fight with a knife, never go anywhere with 1 snare. Other than the security of a backup, use 2 for different tunes. I have my stock mahogany birch 5.5X14 and a steel 7X14. Use them both.

BEWARE METAL! (and some rock)

Here is a link to my friends snare, Manuvers and BNV... I heard that he is going to sell it (along with his matching kit, no im got going to spend 1.6k, it looks and sounds nice though!)... Also check out Ruston!
