So Gus, how do you like your new N&C snare?

When I took it out of the box, and adjusted my stand about 5.5 inches higher it sounded exactly how I was planning to tune it, I didn't even adjust a thing!
I'm getting to know the 2 die-cast hoops instead of one on that snare.

You have to know it was meant to be if you pull it out of the box and it is tuned perfectly! Let me know how the switch to die cast hoops makes it sound, I am very curious.

It rings a bit, though that could be the batter head not having vents, too.

I have been hitting the rim to prevent hitting my leg and I was wondering if die-cast help in someway. Maybe Ill just practice the molar system more.

It is a 6" x 14" cast aluminum shell with solid brass hardware (throw off and butt plate as well as lugs) with brass plated hoops. It was specially made for Dave Joyal of Metalcore, Drowningman and Silent Drive (he has a Noble & Cooley Endorsment).

The Black version is the looker and the one most metal heads swear by they are hand made from Origional Zildjian secret cymbal alloy of the. No special drummers use them or endorse them apart from Phill Collins..and at .£615.00 I would say my Ludwig 14" 1978 chrome Supraphonic comes in first choice and some change in my pocket.....drums are to play not to admire.....
