have you tried EBay or CraigsList?

P.S. Dr, Mapex's logo is bigger than yours.

North kits are awesome dude.
The special design make it that the sound gets projected better out to the audience.
Unfortunately, North sales were down and where too expensive to make and
The factories shut down.
Those are some awesome drums though.

Yeah, happier than a puppy in a room full of rubber balls. Or a Silver Fox in a hen house.

Re: Anyone Got a North kit out there??

HAhaha, yeah i mean i have played them once before, i was in Ithaca NY, in like 07 at a gig and this band came on before us and i looked up and this damn guy was setting up a pearl white North Kit, and i started to drool, the guy was about 60ish and his band was called like Hermie and the Ciggs or something and i asked if i could play it and he asked how long i had been playing for ( probably just to make sure i was legit) i said 12 years, and i played it and it was amazing... but i have never came across one since. and then i realized North Kits are kinda like Big Foot or UFOS.

Cool I have a 1974 North set with a rack

I will be posting drum kit pix in the very near future along with stories of their relationship to me. please stay posted as I release and learn more about this site on how to navigate it better. I love that North kit so letting go is on one of those God things.....hehe! They are white 3 toms, floor and bass drum with the rack. they are in great condition and with cases which need some foam...he he! I plan on doing some photo shoots by end of 2012 year then letting them go to someone who will love them as I have. I recorded a cinemax commercial back in mid 80s at a studio at lovefield. I heard the tracks were scratched except the
drum tracks no telling why or where they went. I am almost sure I have heard the tracks in songs or commercials through the years. Funny maybe its just me...anyway I heard phil collins recorded at that studio during the Stu-studio days. I recorded an album called "Canta Canta" by Johnny Hernandez and the Third Coast Band in 1984. If you can get a solid thump from the bass drum as you know rooms change- it becomes even more powerful. Lovely with various light staged displays.... Tata
