Re: Rockwood Honor Drums?

It's no hassle bro, I've been playing over 50 years and i don't know everything either. We're all drumming siblings here at the forum and if it's out there, we can find it.

Found this of all places Amazon.com :
Amazon.com: Hohner Rockwood Drum Set in Wine Red:...Amazon.com: Hohner Rockwood Drum Set in Wine Red:...
Sorry, but that's all I have for now. I'll try a deeper research tomorrow. I even checked the NAMM archives and got nothing on this kit.

Re: Rockwood Honor Drums?

Hohner is the manufacturer that makes Sonor drums sets also. Rockwoods are Sonor's Chinese made import kit from what I can tell. I assume they offer these so they can compete with DW's PDP brand and other import kits.

This is speculation on my part but that is what it appears to be to me.

Here is a link to a review of a Rockwood kit (better read this before you consider buying it):

Re: Rockwood Honor Drums?

I remember my father owning a Honer harmonica back in the days. It didn't even dawn on me that that would make drums also. They've been around a long time.

Re: Rockwood Honor Drums?

Mr. Der, that's the same thing I came up with on a previous post just now. Oh well, that's the way the drumbeats.

Longer doesn't mean better.
