Re: Fusion or Standard?
Fusion is a process used to make the uranium rods for a Nuclear Power Plant.
Study your science.
Now that's funny.

Re: Fusion or Standard?
So I was daydreaming, and then this.
A 7-piece kit: 10", 12", 14" with 16" and 18" floor and big ol' bass drum and snare.
Is that standard or fusion?
Haha.

Re: Fusion or Standard?
Hi Jimmy,
That loooks like a Hal Blaine kit (minus one bass).
There is a mighty interesting book " Hal Blaine and the Wrecking Crew", a very good read about the most prolific drummer in the world.
Cheers and Happy Drumming,
Harry

Re: Fusion or Standard?
I can't read, I'm legitimate.
Bottom line is that Fusion is a "style" of drumming.
No matter what kit you play it on.

Re: Fusion or Standard?
Funny thing is my "fusion" kit has a 22x18 kick.
My cymbals are kinda even as well. I have a 10" splash, 12" mini china, 14" hats, and then 17" and 19" crashes and a 21" ride. the only one that is off is my 18" china.
