My New Yamaha Absolute Maple Kit In Black Sparkle

Hi everyone! My name is lux, drummer based out of Orange County, CA. My dad had bought me my first kit when I was twelve and I played on it until now. 12 years later I bought my own kit, tough decision to make when picking brand, wood, or even finish! Yikes! But it is a beauty and sounds amazing! Here's a pic of the full setup. It's a Yamaha Absolute Series Maple kit with 2 kick drums in 22"x18", 3 rack toms in 10", 12" and 14" and two floor toms in 16" and 18". It's a monster.

My cymbal setup is as follows:
14" Paiste 2002 Sound Edge Hi-Hats
12" Paiste Signature Thin China
16" Paiste Reflector Heavy Full Crash
17" Paiste Reflector Heavy Full Crash
18" Paiste Reflector Heavy Full Crash
22" Paiste 2002 Ride
16" Paiste 2002 China
18" Paiste Twenty China

Overall, it's an awesome kit and it's a great feeling buying my own kit, something I didn't get to experience until now. My previous kit was a Stage Custom and it did last a while considering the number of rehearsals and tours I put it through. You can still check out pics of the old kit at luxdrummer.com :: Official Website :: Psychobilly, Rock, Metal, Thrash - Orange County, CA (haven't updated this site yet with the new kit) so check it out while you still can! And thanks for any tips or feedback!

Rock on,
lux

HI LUX Can you tell me what the difference is between the Stage Custom and the Absolute
and the Recording Custom I researched but wasn't very successful.
