If they bring joy into your life, then it's all about being proud.

This reminds me of the go kart race in the Little Rascals. It was the ugliest looking go kart and it won the race.

I do sit-ins for drummers from time to time. I don't tell some of the other drummers anything about their kits no matter what shape or the way they looked.

I was simply there to sit in and get the work done. Being a drummer, you can make any kit sound as good as possible. So just do your best with what you have.

A good drummer can make any kit sound good. If your only problem is that tom, try different things like muffling, tuning and maybe a little resonator gel is what you can do to make it your way.

We and no one else would know the difference anyway. Even if you brought it up. Maybe some of us would like the sound and even try to imitate that sound.

You'll never know unless you try. Good luck to you and the other competitors.

These Drum Battles are just for fun any old hoot.

This is so true. I have a kit, it had a lot of resonance. I didn't like it too much, so I changed some things(resonance gel, a new head) and it's completely different. You just gotta work a little on it.
Good luck!

BUTTER IT'S SLINGERLAND How was your Christmas did you get what you expected?? I hope so how are your drums doing REMEMBER what I told you to SAVE This morning I saw on Craigslist
a PDP 5 piece set for $200.00 and a Mapex Mars Pro 5 Piece for $300.00 It seems that people may have got some drum sets they may not want and they want to sell if anybody wants to buy this may be the time I would check the PAWN SHOPS too, but I would check Craigslist for sure.

Hey I know how you feel my old drum set looked WAYYY worse then that. then I started mowing lawns in the summer and bought myself my tama rockstar. It's a great kit and I got it for only $400. Although I did have to upgrade the heads before it sounded as good as it does now. Just remember to keep playing and having fun no matter how your kit looks!

haha! Good Luck to you too.
Yeah they are soooo smooth and fast. I love 'em. Very easy to control,
and are very quick. The PowerShifter thing is cool too.
There is a screw at the bottom of the foot board so you can move it forward and backward to change the feel with it. I didn't play with that yet.
This should be fun........
