There is also another thing to consider about the video, it was recorded with a camera, and as im sure you know things sound a LOT different in real life. So it's quite hard to make judgements about the kit from the video. I agree that drum heads can make a cheap kit sound great, my kit is cheap but sounds good because of drum heads, but I've noticed high end kits sound even better. The major difference is the level of craftsmanship though,
DW kits are hand made with care and I certainly can't say that about my
tama rockstar.
