Wanted 10" Ludwig White Cortex Concert tom

I have just about completed my 1975 Ludwig Octa Plus kit, but I'm missing the 10" concert tom. The kit has a White Cortex finish with three ply shells and Granitone interiors, B/O point badges and is in excellent condition, with beautiful chrome. I ended up with some extra clip mount style stands and would be willing to make a trade for the tom?

Hello. I too am looking for a white 10" Ludwig tom. I would rather a rack tom, but a concert would work. Have you recieved any responses? Of course I'm assuming that you have your drum by now

Actually no I have not found a 10" concert tom for my Octa Plus kit, weird as that may seem. Early on someone sent me a lead on one from a Craig's List in California, maybe LA? I answered the ad but received no response.

I would even buy the 8" and the 10" if I could find them.

Go figure?

10" concert tom ? it is difficult to find one. I will keep an eye for you.

Thank you, I would buy both the 8" and the 10" if that was available, just to get the 10".

Google the hart county high school band department in munfordville ky when i went to shool there about 3 years ago the had what u are looking for in there storrage unit. im shure u could get it from them hell i will contact my father and see if it is not in our barn lol.

What have you done with the clip-mount style stands Mono-plane? Those are hard to find. I need them for my old Slingerland and Tama Imperialstar kits. I have adapted some timbale and bongo stands but would love the more authentic hardware, assuming the Ludwig vintage stuff works on other drums. Do you know if the clip mounts were transferrable in the 60s and 70s?

It sounds like you've got quite a selection of drums! And you'll wait years to get a missing part! Do you like the sounds of the old kits or is the collecting/refurbishing the fun part of the hobby?
