checking out heads on the evans site, the g plus, I see it come it clear, coated,and white coated, I presume the coated is that frosty coating, has anyone ever played these types of head, does it sound like a clear, does it sound good, bad, I have mostly used white coated, or clear, just curious for future sake.
I have not played on single ply Evans but I do like and use the G2s both coated and clear. I like the G2s for their warmth and fullness. I especially like the coated G2 in combo with my 12x7 Maple snare. Sounds like butter.
