Have tried emailing "RTOM" who are the people that either make or market the stuff but as yet have had no reply-not even an acknowledgement. Kinda makes you wonder if they are bothered dunit!

Just like most anything they do have a life expectancy and will disintegrate. I don't know what has the biggest effect, heat, cold, humidity or dry conditions (maybe it's time to experiment?), but it happens over time. I have had a couple go bad but they're relatively cheap to replace, some of mine have started to discolor too. Like everyone else says, rinse them off once in a while and they'll stay sticky.

Yes Tainojim they do, but they're just not as pretty as, or as much fun to play with as those cutesy purple blobs of slime... especially when you throw them at the bass player
